Homeschool Enrichment
Science experiments are the perfect way to engage students in the concepts they are studying. Our programs are tailored to meet the NGSS and CAS standards for each grade. Activities can be designed to complement any age group or topic and can create a foundation for using science in the real world. Programs can be conducted on a one-time or recurring basis and last approximately 1 hour.
Some Common topics include:
- Chemistry Basics I (ages 7+): Atoms and molecules, states of matter, polymers, solutions and mixtures, acids and bases
- Chemistry Basics II (ages 8+): Exothermic and endothermic reactions, hydrophobic and hydrophillic molecules, saturation, osmosis
- Physics I (ages 8+): Newton's laws of motion, kinetic and potential energy, magnetism, light
- Physics II (ages 9+): Electricity and circuits, sound waves, momentum, rotational motion
- Astronomy (ages 7+): Planets, stars, constellations, galaxies
- Earth Science (ages 7+): Earth Systems, life cycles, ecosystems
- Human biology I (ages 7+): Human cells, digestive system, skeletal and muscles, respiratory system
- Human Biology II (ages 10+): Nervous system, circulatory system, renal system, immune system
- Microbiology (ages 10+): Microbial cells, bacteria, fungi, viruses
A series of experiments can be curated to correspond with the topics you are learning in class and bring them to life with fun and engaging activities.
